Shimla located at an average altitude of 2,397 meters above from sea level. It is one of the most famous tourist attraction in India. Shimla boats lovely deodar forests and mountain views, combining the beauty of the majestic Himalayas with the sleepy charm of a hill town. The city is bounded by Kinnaur in the east, Uttarakhand in the south-east, Solan and Sirmaur to the south and Mandi and Kullu in the north. It was used by the British government as Summer Capital of India from 1864-1947 due to extensive heatwave in the plain region. Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi - Shimla
On arrival pick up from Delhi Railway station/Airport. After meet & greet services proceed to Shimla, perched at 7000 feet above sea level, The heady combinations of Chill mountain air, orchards and colonial charms still make Shimla a dream get away. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore various scenic sights or visit Mall Road. Night stay in Shimla.
Day 2: Shimla - Kufri - Shimla(Excursion Tour)
After breakfast proceed for excursion to Kufri, which is 14 kilometers away from Shimla. Kufri, a must-visit place, located at an altitude of 2290 meters above the sea level, Kufri is famous for its Himalayan National Park, Poney and Yak Ride and One can see the endless Himalayan Panorama from Kufri, In the afternoon, visit the Viceregal lodge, which was designed by British architect. The lodge was the residence of the British viceroy of India. Later you can spend some time at the mall and visit some nearby sites like the Christ Church, Scandal Point, and the Gaiety Theatre along with some shopping. In the evening, return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Shimla - Delhi
Today is the final day of the tour. After early morning breakfast. Complete the check-out formalities. Proceed for drive back to New Delhi.
